Training Programmes

Our training programmes (in person, online, long distance/correspondence)  lead the individual enrollee to earn any of the following academic awards:

Higher Degrees: Interested graduates have the opportunity to advance their theological training through our college where higher degree programs are done in partnership with VISION INT’L UNIVERSITY, RAMONA CA 92065, USA.

Each of these courses vary in duration depending on the individual’s entry qualification and how determined each learner is to upgrade himself or herself. The courses are broken down into modules which could be done at the pace convenient for the student. The arrangement is so flexible that no matter how busy you are, if you can commit to at least two hours or more of independent study every day, you are good to go. Each student determines his or her own pace.

Duration: How long a course lasts depends largely on the type of course, the student’s interest, educational background, and schedule preferences!

Method of Delivery: Alpha Bible College, Nigeria employs different out-of-the-box approaches to help individuals and local churches develop capacity towards the total spiritual welfare of the individual which invariably has a ripple effect on the local assembly. Each course comes in a customised pdf-formatted manual written in very flowing, easy to read and easy to understand English language.

Although the courses are designed to be self-taught, lectures (interactive sessions) are organized in a manner that accommodates, as much as possible, the learners’ schedule preferences.

For those running the conventional academic programme, classes hold between 3 and 4 days in the week. Whereas for the 'Bible College in a Box' (BCIB) programme, “interactive sessions” come up only one weekend per month. This is repeated nine more times in the year and that completes one year’s course of study.

English is the language of instruction. However, separate arrangements are made for those who prefer to have their classes taught in Yoruba language.

Transcripts & Certificates: Each student’s transcripts of academic performance as well as his/her certificates, diplomas and bachelor’s degrees are issued directly by our American partners.

Prospect for Further Education: Graduates of Alpha Bible College, Nigeria may transfer credits earned here to other similar institutions around the globe, for the purposes of further studies.

Other Services: In fulfilment of Ephesians 4:13, upon invitation, we help Senior Pastors/Founders/Church Planters to train their workers. We do this through our outreach department called, "BIBLE COLLEGE ON WHEELS". Besides that, we also help Churches develop Christian Education Departments and Schools of Ministry for effective training of their workers.

Furthermore, we provide time-based mentoring oversight for such schools of ministry that we helped to build.
